What are the common defects in sheet metal
Source: Release time: 2023.06.01
The occurrence of defects in sheet metal is generally caused by the following situations. Now, the editor will introduce the following five points to everyone:

(1) Roll material damage or edge wrinkling: wrinkling phenomenon that occurs when the gap between the guide rollers on the uncoiling line or the guide rollers on the mold is small, caused by imbalanced feeding of the roll material;

(2) Convex and concave: Foreign objects (iron filings, dust) mixed into the uncoiled wire cause convexity and concave.

(3) Sliding mark: occurs when suddenly stopped or accelerated due to roller sliding;

(4) Burr: Burrs are generated at the lower part of the steel plate cross-section. Based on the cross-section, when the height of the burrs is above 0.2mm, the iron powder generated here will damage the mold and cause convexity and concavity;

(5) Roller stamp (see Figure 2): caused by foreign objects attached to the cleaning roller or feeding roller (occurring at a fixed pitch);
